In order to improve the localization of DAF, family legacy, impact investment and social finance, to set up the strategic framework of the DAF ecosystem in China, to inclusively popularize the use of DAF as a convenient tool to make charitable contributions, and to make charitable contribution an important part of donors' overall asset allocation strategy, Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance, (Beijing Normal University) China Philanthropy Research Institute, and other relevant institutions, as the Initiating Institutions, established the China DAF (Donor Advised Fund) Forum (hereinafter the ‘Forum’, website: www.DAF-forum.org.cn) on December 10th, 2020.

With the aims of ‘Networking’, ‘Sharing’, ‘Consensus Building’, ‘Advocacy’ and ‘Education’, the mission of ‘Helping participants in the DAF (Donor Advised Fund) ecosystem connect and share’, the values of ‘Accountability’, ‘Professionalism’, ‘Innovation’, and ‘Sharing’, the Forum, as a professional, effective and authoritative communication and promotion platform for the DAF, family legacy, impact investment and social finance industry events, will actively promote communication on activities among its members, exhibit innovative achievements, offer training courses, promote the construction of the DAF ecosystem based on the DAF business model and risk control model, collaborate with other related institutions in the industry to promote the establishment of the DAF, family legacy, impact investment and social finance industries in China and will also dedicate itself to the legally compliant development of the DAF, family legacy, impact investment and social finance industries and the sharing of resources in the DAF ecosystem.

The Forum will strictly comply with the laws, regulations and policies of the People’s Republic of China (referred to hereinafter as ‘China’) and will serve as a bridge of communication for members of the Forum, regulators, lawmakers, academics, and other domestic and overseas participants of the DAF ecosystem. The Forum will put innovative ideas into practice by fully absorbing and sharing both inland and abroad advanced practice in the DAF, family legacy, impact investment, social finance and other industries, and will provide training and communication opportunities for organizations and individuals in the DAF, family legacy, impact investment and social finance industries. The Forum will also seek to contribute to the establishment of a unified and sound system of regulations and industry rules for the DAF industry in China, as well as to promote the sound and orderly development of the DAF, family legacy, impact investment and social finance industries. The Forum attempts to make an impact investment to encourage strategic philanthropy, to build a contribution system with Chinese characteristics, to explore the direction of China’s charitable ecology development, and to achieve sustainable, competitive, and standardized public welfare undertakings.

（1）Purposes of the China DAF Forum

The purposes of the China DAF Forum are ‘Networking’, ‘Sharing’, ‘Consensus Building’, ‘Advocacy’ and ‘Education’.

（2）Relationship Between the China DAF Forum and the Charity

The relationship between the China DAF Forum and the Charity is as follows:

(1) The DAF Forum can facilitate the particularization of the sources of the Charity’s donors: Through the sharing platform of the DAF Forum, it is convenient to collect and connect the participating organizations in the DAF, family legacy, impact investment, social finance industries and to attract outstanding leading organizations in the industry as members of the DAF Forum. Under the premise that requirements concerning the particularized source of donors are met, members of the DAF Forum can be recommended as qualified donors to the Charity and may then open charitable accounts or contribute to the Charity.

(2) The Charity can be a member of the DAF Forum: The Charity can register to become a member of the DAF Forum. As a member, the Charity can participate in activities related to the DAF Forum, enjoy rights and interests, and fulfill relevant obligations.

(3) The DAF Charity can be the organizer of the DAF Forum: The DAF Charity can apply into the organizer database and is responsible for taking the lead to organize the Forum activities throughout the year and coordinating all parties to carry out the work as the annual event organizer; or is responsible for cooperating with and supporting the annual event organizer to organize related activities or organizing related activities independently as a special event organizer.

（3）Member Committees of the DAF Forum

The DAF Forum will establish the following Member Committees to address the professional issues faced by the DAF, family legacy, impact investment, social finance and other related industries:
