Derong SHI, Board Member of the Special Olympics, Chairman of the Shanghai Special Olympics, Independent Director of the Guotai Junan Securities, Partner and Chief Investment Officer of the Puluo Capital, and the Chief Investment Officer of the China Development Bank Equipment Manufacturing Fund. Mr. Shi is the founder and has served as the Executive Vice chairman of the Shanghai Charity Foundation. He has also served as the Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Shanghai Guosheng Group Co., Ltd., Chairman of the Shanghai Building Materials (Group) Corporation, and the Chairman of the Shanghai State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. Mr. Shi was the General Producer of the Shanghai Corporate Pavilion of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, Director of the Preparatory Center, General producer of the Opening Ceremony of the 2007 World Special Olympics Summer Games in Shanghai, and has been in charge of holding Shanghai International Gold Grand Prix for five times since 2005. Mr. Shi has served as a member of the Standing Committee of the 11th Shanghai Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, Director and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs, Director of the Organization Department, and Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Luwan District. Mr. Shi obtained his bachelor's degree in political science from East China Normal University, his master’s degree in Industrial Management, and his doctor’s degree in System Management Engineering both from Tongji University.

Anthony QIAO, the first Chairman of the Beijing Zhong Lun Charity Foundation and a senior partner of the Beijing Zhong Lun Law Firm. Mr. Qiao has been practicing in the PRC legal service market for twenty-eight years. He is an expert lawyer of investment, mergers & acquisitions, and capital market in the Chinese real estate, infrastructure, and finance industry and he is also the earliest and the most enthusiastic Chinese practicing lawyer engaged in charitable activities. Mr. Qiao has long been committed to "serving the public welfare with professionalism and the rule of law, promoting the flow of social wealth into the philanthropic sector in a professional and legitimate approach, and promoting the compliant governance of social charitable organizations. He has put a lot of effort and practice into the internal standardized governance of social charitable organizations, the management of charitable projects, and the formulation of their development strategies. Mr. Qiao has also long been committed to charitable services in the field of family legacy and philanthropic investment of entrepreneur wealth, the establishment of an ecological, green, and environment-friendly society (Green Supply Chain and Green Finance), and so on.

Deputy Chairman of the Advisory BoardZhenyao WANG
Zhenyao Wang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Beijing Normal University, and is Chairman of the (Beijing Normal University) China Philanthropy Research Institute, Chairman of the Asia Academy of Philanthropy, and Founding President of China Global Philanthropy Institute. Prof. Wang Zhenyao holds an MPA degree, Harvard University and a Ph.D. from Peking University. He has been awarded the 14th ‘Compassion Award’ in 2019.
Prof. Wang previously worked for over 22 years at Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China where he was instrumental in launching several renowned national policies including direct village elections and the country’s urban/rural minimum welfare social safety net system. Following the devastating Wenchuan earthquake, he established the National Natural Disaster Response System, a four-tiered mechanism for coordinated emergency response. While at Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Wang also focused on expanding social security benefits to the country’s most vulnerable, reforming the national welfare system to provide allowances and greater support to groups such as orphans and senior citizens.
Prof. Wang also helms the (Beijing Normal University) China Philanthropy Research Institute (CPRI), which he founded in June, 2010. Under Prof. Wang’s leadership, CPRI has become a leading philanthropy think-tank, which drives national discourse on China’s social services and charitable sector. In addition to its research, CPRI also provides professional philanthropy consulting services and has completed a number of influential projects related to charity law and policy reform, child welfare, and senior citizen service systems reform.

In the field of financial products and trusts, Mr. Liu Borong has been dedicated to the legal practice of asset securitization since 2004, when he guided China Development Bank in its first ever onshore credit asset securitization project. Over nearly two decades, he has developed unrivaled knowledge and experience in asset securitization and structured finance. Since 2006, Mr. Liu has actively led the China Securitization Forum, promoting collaborative relationships and open dialogue among participants in the asset securitization market at home and around the world. Mr. Liu was rated ‘Band 1’ lawyer for ten consecutive years by Chambers & Partners in Chambers Asia in the field of asset securitization in China and Asia from 2008 to 2017, and ranked as ‘Eminent Practitioner’ for five consecutive years by Chambers and Partners in Chambers Asia-Pacific from 2018 to 2021.
In the field of wealth planning, Mr. Liu counsels from a global perspective, offering worldwide solutions for his clients, addressing estate planning, family governance and family legacy concerns. He specializes in strategic philanthropy and in utilizing charitable accounts, known as donor advised funds, to provide flexible and comprehensive solutions for his clients. These include complex gifts to charities, charitable fundraising strategies, and financial and legal tools and structures for corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, social ventures, and impact investments. Mr. Liu views the practice of law as a great privilege and his role as a steward, always putting the interests of his clients first.
In the field of compliance and anti-corruption, Mr. Liu focuses on the holistic design of individual compliance and corporate compliance from a broad-based perspective. He specializes in integrating both business compliance and charity compliance programs on a mission-oriented basis to lay the legal foundation for his clients to make a lasting impact.
Mr. Liu serves as head of the Private Equity and Asset Management Department of the Zhong Lun Law Firm, Co-Chairman of the Executive Committee of the China Securitization Forum, External Appraisal Expert for the Asset Securitization Projects at both the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, and has formerly served as the Deputy Chairman of the Zhong Lun Charity Foundation, special-term professor at the China Capital Markets Institute, Commissioner of the Expert Committee of the China Development Bank, 7th Chairman of the Asset Securitization Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association, as well as the 8th and 9th Chairman of the Trust Law Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association.

Mr. Deng is adjunct professor of University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, extramural academic advisor of Peking University, Renmin University of China, etc., the deputy director of Tax and Legal Planning Center of Central University of Finance and Economics, the director of China International Taxation Research Association, China Association for Fisal and Tax Law, and Beijing Taxation Institute, the deputy director of the editorial committee of China Tax and Legal Think Tank, and has published several monographs such as ‘Research on Taxation of Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions’, ‘Research on Income Taxation Management in China’, etc. He is the former Party Committee Secretary and Director of the Foreign-related Taxation Branch of Beijing Taxation Bureau, and is currently the Chief Taxation Consultant of ShineWing International Certified Public Accountants, and the founder and general manager of Daji (Beijing) Management Consulting Co., Ltd.

Dr. Rui GUO, Associate Professor at the Law School of Renmin University of China, S.J.D. from Harvard Law School. Dr. Guo’s study on corporate governance and corporate social responsibility has led to the publication of a monograph entitled "Morality, Law and the Corporation". He serves as a director of the China Securities Law Research Association, the director of the Center for Social Responsibility and Governance at the Institute of Law and Technology at Renmin University of China, and he is a fellow of the Harvard Law School Project on Disability. Dr. Guo is the Lead Expert for the Research Group on Ethics of Artificial Intelligence of the Artificial Intelligence Working Group, Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC). He participated in the drafting of the first AI standardization white paper (published in 2018) and led the drafting of the AI Ethical Risk Research Report (published in May 2019 by Artificial Intelligence Working Group, SAC). Dr. Guo's monograph "Ethics and Governance of Artificial Intelligence" has been well received by the academic community and the public. He serves as a member of the Sub-Committee of Artificial Intelligence and Sub-Committee of User Interface, National Standardization Committee of Information Technology. He is a member of the Youth Council of the Future Forum.
