（1）Initiation of the DAF Family Legacy Online Learning Platform
In order to support the DAF Family Legacy Office(hereinafter the ‘DAF Office’) and other participants of the DAF Ecosystem in carrying out training projects, to build a non-profit knowledge sharing platform for the DAF Office and other participants of the DAF Ecosystem to display excellent resources of training achievements, audio or video courses, and to promote learners to experience the resource-based interactive learning, the DAF Office will initiate the ‘DAF Family Legacy Online Learning Platform Project’ with the China DAF (Donor Advised Fund) Charity (hereinafter the ‘DAF Charity’) as the donor.
（2）Nature of the DAF Family Legacy Online Learning Platform Project
The DAF Family Legacy Online Learning Platform Project (hereinafter ‘This Project’) is a charitable project in nature, initiated by the DAF Office. During the preliminary operating stage, the DAF Family Legacy Online Learning Platform(hereinafter the ‘DAF Online Learning Platform’) will operate and carry out activities in the name of the DAF Office. During the mature operating stage, the DAF Office will manage and operate the DAF Online Learning Platform jointly with third-party non-profit organizations. The establishment and operation of the DAF Online Learning Platform is not for profit-making and has non-profit characteristics.
（3）Positioning of the DAF Family Legacy Online Learning Platform
a) Positioning during the Preliminary Operating Stage
During the preliminary stage of its establishment, the DAF Online Learning Platform is mainly positioned at:
i. Serving as a DAF Ecosystem Online Course Publication Medium
The DAF Online Learning Platform will serve as a DAF Ecosystem online publication medium for excellent courses in the fields of donor advised fund (DAF), family legacy, impact investment, social finance, family strategic philanthropy, and so on. During the preliminary stage, the DAF Online Learning Platform will make it a priority to provide professional and high-quality course resources in the field of ‘Strategic Philanthropy Based on Family Legacy’ in a non-profit form.
ii. Serving as a Supporting Platform for Participants of DAF Ecosystem to Learn and Share Knowledge in the Fields of DAF, Family Legacy, Impact Investment and Social Finance
The DAF Online Learning Platform is a supporting platform for participants of DAF ecosystem to learn and share knowledge in the fields of DAF, family legacy, impact investment, social finance. On the basis of public charitable training needs, the DAF Office will invite or encourage outstanding professionals in related fields (such as lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, and so on) to record the corresponding training courses for the DAF Online Learning Platform. While providing professional, authoritative, rich, and in-depth theoretical knowledge, the DAF Online Learning Platform also focuses on the development and design of practical courses to make course contents more applicable, practical, and operational.
b) Positioning during the Mature Operating Stage
i. Establishing a Customized Non-profit Online Interactive Learning Platform Integrating Social, Emotional and Knowledge Needs
A mature online interactive learning platform shall meet learners' multiple social, emotional, and knowledge needs. Based on this, the DAF Online Learning Platform will establish a customized non-profit online interactive learning platform integrating social, emotional and knowledge needs: By continuously exploring learners’ characteristics, so as to promote the learners’ community communication, and to meet the learners’ social needs; by building relationships among the learners so as to seek recognition and emotional support from the learners’ community; by leading learners to develop good online learning habits, so as to promote learners to experience a resource-based interactive learning and help them to acquire knowledge more conveniently, attentively and continuously.
ii. Promoting the Development of the Adaptive Learning Management System
For the purposes of creating a well-developed, efficient and systematic online training platform available for learners domestic and abroad, when conditions are favorable, both parties may collaborate with other institutions in developing the Adaptive Learning Management System, which is suitable for every learner. The development of the Adaptive Learning Management System is learner-oriented based on the DAF Online Learning Platform, advanced software for course design such as f (generalized intellectual frame for tutoring), and learners’ past experiences, educational backgrounds, and work experience. A Learning Record Store for each learner will be established to maximize the achievements of individualized teaching, and to provide learners with an interactive learning platform that combines modules including pre-class guidance, course learning, group work, assessment, and learning records.
