Honorary Chairman of the Board of DirectorsZhenyao WANG
Zhenyao Wang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Beijing Normal University, and is Chairman of the (Beijing Normal University) China Philanthropy Research Institute, Chairman of the Asia Academy of Philanthropy, and Founding President of China Global Philanthropy Institute. Prof. Wang Zhenyao holds an MPA degree, Harvard University and a Ph.D. from Peking University. He has been awarded the 14th ‘Compassion Award’ in 2019.
Prof. Wang previously worked for over 22 years at Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China where he was instrumental in launching several renowned national policies including direct village elections and the country’s urban/rural minimum welfare social safety net system. Following the devastating Wenchuan earthquake, he established the National Natural Disaster Response System, a four-tiered mechanism for coordinated emergency response. While at Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Wang also focused on expanding social security benefits to the country’s most vulnerable, reforming the national welfare system to provide allowances and greater support to groups such as orphans and senior citizens.
Prof. Wang also helms the (Beijing Normal University) China Philanthropy Research Institute (CPRI), which he founded in June, 2010. Under Prof. Wang’s leadership, CPRI has become a leading philanthropy think-tank, which drives national discourse on China’s social services and charitable sector. In addition to its research, CPRI also provides professional philanthropy consulting services and has completed a number of influential projects related to charity law and policy reform, child welfare, and senior citizen service systems reform.

Mr. Liu serves as head of the Private Equity and Asset Management Department of the Zhong Lun Law Firm, Chairman of the FWP Alumni Board, Co-Chairman of the Executive Committee of the China Securitization Forum, External Appraisal Expert for the Asset Securitization Projects at both the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, and has formerly served as the Deputy Chairman of the Zhong Lun Charity Foundation, special-term professor at the China Capital Markets Institute, Commissioner of the Expert Committee of the China Development Bank, 7th Chairman of the Asset Securitization Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association, as well as the 8th and 9th Chairman of the Trust Law Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association.
In the field of financial products and trusts, Mr. Liu Borong has been dedicated to the legal practice of asset securitization since 2004, when he guided China Development Bank in its first ever onshore credit asset securitization project. Over nearly two decades, he has developed unrivaled knowledge and experience in asset securitization and structured finance. Since 2006, Mr. Liu has actively led the China Securitization Forum, promoting collaborative relationships and open dialogue among participants in the asset securitization market at home and around the world. Mr. Liu was rated ‘Band 1’ lawyer for ten consecutive years by Chambers & Partners in Chambers Asia in the field of asset securitization in China and Asia from 2008 to 2017, and ranked as ‘Eminent Practitioner’ for five consecutive years by Chambers and Partners in Chambers Asia-Pacific from 2018 to 2021.
In the field of wealth planning, Mr. Liu has been certified as a Family Wealth Planner (FWP) and he counsels from a global perspective, offering worldwide solutions for his clients, addressing estate planning, family governance and family legacy concerns. He specializes in strategic philanthropy and in utilizing charitable accounts, known as donor advised funds, to provide flexible and comprehensive solutions for his clients. These include complex gifts to charities, charitable fundraising strategies, and financial and legal tools and structures for corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, social ventures, and impact investments. Mr. Liu views the practice of law as a great privilege and his role as a steward, always putting the interests of his clients first.
In the field of compliance and anti-corruption, Mr. Liu focuses on the holistic design of individual compliance and corporate compliance from a broad-based perspective. He specializes in integrating both business compliance and charity compliance programs on a mission-oriented basis to lay the legal foundation for his clients to make a lasting impact.

Mr. Feng Li is the Chairman and General Manager of Shenzhen CSN Financial Services Co., Ltd, and former Deputy General Manager of the CITIC Trust and Founder of its consumer trust division. Mr. Li served at the General Office of the CITIC Group and the CITIC Securities Capital Operation Department. He also led his team to launch the very first asset securitization project in China, as well as a series of large, innovative trust products and also established several trust business profit models, for which he won the titles of ‘National Financial System Innovator’ and ‘National Advanced Individual in the Financial System’.

Mrs. Yan Jiang, Assistant CEO, Head of Family Trust of AVIC Trust, Beijing. She earned doctor’s degree in Peking University, Guanghua school of Management and Master in Finance in London Business School. She also have the CFA and FRM qualification. Since joined AVIC Trust in 2018, she is responsible for the family trust and philanthropy trust business. She restructured the Family Trust department of the firm, made market development plan and built up a new professional team. In her leadership, the team has achieved multiple growth in both AUM and client accounts, and entered the top 5 in industry. She also upgraded the operations and information system to better support the fast growth of business and helped bring all family trust service online. In philanthropy trust, Mrs. Jiang Yan has actively provided solutions for private bank customers and ultra high net worth clients from Chinese listed companies. She also participates in charity trust for rural vitalization and discussions of Charity law amendment.
Before she joined AVIC, she was assistant CEO of Chang'An Trust, Beijing, in charge of Capital Market, Wealth Management, Family Trust & Charitable Trust. And she also worked in CITIGROUP, London and MERRILL LYNCH INTERNATIONAL as Vice President. She was credit officer and credit risk manager in CITIC bank in early years.

Mr Li is the former head of media program marketing of CCTV Social and Law Channel, and the former Director of China Radio and Television Legal Program Working Committee, with rich experience in media operation and brand promotion, and is expert in TV media operation management and cause-related marketing. Mr. Li has organized the planning and execution of TV media marketing activities of major brands and participated in the design and implementation of annual advertising bidding projects of CCTV Social and Law Channel and Program, familiar with various media reports and editing production process. He fully participated in and organized various major promotional events for the channel and its programs, including a large-scale promotional event for ‘Safe China’ (cooperating with the Central Political and Legal Committee for the safety construction), ‘The Power of the Rule of Law’ (a special program of the Gala Evening on December 4th), ‘Xiao Sa Exploration Meeting’ (a special program of the ‘Two Sessions’), ‘Green Bookmark Action’ (Special Program of the intellectual property on April 26th), ‘National Lawyers Competition’ (the Supreme Court), etc.

Professor and PhD Supervisor of the School of Sociology, Beijing Normal University, director of Family Philanthropy and Charity Trust of China Charity Federation, member of the expert committee of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
Professor Fu has worked in news media, as well as in the government-both municipal and central-for many years. Since 2015, he has been devoted to education area, supporting the development of philanthropy and social innovation and to promoting new forms of social governance that rely on cooperation and sharing.
Professor Fu spearheaded the research including Research on the Third Distribution Function and the Healthy Development of Charity, Research on the Path of Charity Forces Participating in Grassroots Governance by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Analysis of the Current Situation and Development Trends of Chinese Private Enterprise Foundations by the Central United Front Work Department Guangcai, and Analysis of the Path of Charity Organizations Participating in Charity Trusts by the China Charity Federation. He has published more than 20 articles and comments on People's Daily, Chinese Public Administration, Forbes Chinese, Alliance and other newspapers, presided over the Research of China Family Philanthropy Report (2022), Family Philanthropy Guide and offered courses such as Business for Good and Family Legacy and Theory of Social Innovation.

Mrs. Xiaoli Liu is a Partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm and a member of the Asset Securitization and Structured Financing Professional Committee of the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (NAFMII). Mrs. Liu has obtained extensive practical experience in the fields of asset-backed securitization, structured financing, non-performing assets and internet consumer finance. Mr. Zhang was a member of the Committee of the All-China Youth Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Youth Federation of the Central Government Departments, the 8th and 9th President of Beijing Lawyers Association, the 9th Vice President of the All China Lawyers Association, and a member of the 14th Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People’s Congress. He also served as the External Director of the China Telecom Group and China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd., and as the Independent Director of Legend Holdings Corporation.
