When conditions are favorable, the Charity together will third parties will establish the PWP (Philanthropic Wealth Planner) Training Program (hereinafter the ‘Training Program’).
(1)Guiding Principles of the Training Program
① Integrating Philanthropy into Practice Courses
When imparting theoretical knowledge about philanthropy to the trainees, the Training Program also focuses on development and design of the practice courses from a philanthropic aspect and making their contents more practical and exercisable with the aim of strengthening the professional and practical skills of PWPs.
② Integrating Competitiveness into the Training Program
For the purposes of establishing a competitive training platform and system, optimizing the processes of the Training Program, achieving the purposes thereof efficiently, enhancing the quality of the training, and building up a training brand, a competition mechanism will be integrated into the Training Program after the online training platform runs maturely. Relevant parties are encouraged to join in the Training Program, with charitable purposes or by contributing charitable hours.
③ Encouraging Resource Sharing
The Training Program will explore a to-business cooperative model with one or several potential strategic cooperation institutions. Through the resources shared on the training platform, it will revitalize those institutions by offering new place to develop their business, helping them conduct charitable training, and encouraging them to provide mission-based high-end charitable services for their clients.
(2)Objectives of the Training Program
The Training Program is aimed at achieving following objectives:
① To Professionalize Philanthropy: To teach trainees the basic expertise in guiding clients in allocating strategic charitable assets, such as domestic and overseas family development strategy and management, family trust, charitable trust, family tax planning, family business management, legal compliance and risk of family affairs, etc.;
② To Strategize Philanthropy: To impart the concept of strategizing philanthropy to trainees and equip them with necessary skills, in order to enable them to guide their clients in designing strategic framework combining both commerce and philanthropy with a goal of passing down charitable legacies;
③ To Advocate Building Accountability Through Professionalism: To encourage trainees to join in charitable affairs, improve their expertise in philanthropy, advocate building accountability through professionalism, and support Chinese non-profit organizations in building up their accountability;
④ To Add Charitable Tools to the Management of Relationships with Clients: To explore a new type of philanthropic mission-based relationship between trainees and their clients; to help professionals guide their clients in opening DAF charitable accounts so that the contribution of charitable assets can become an important part of the strategic allocation of donors’ overall assets; to explore ways to manage, stabilize, and maintain their relationships with clients through charitable tools.
